I've just had to politely correct a lady that the reason the dog I was walking (a client's dog) was wearing a muzzle, was because he eats things he shouldn't, not because he bites.   ISO of a woman who was on the Ledges Trail at Liberty Park around noon today with two children and her dog named Bear, a big black chow mix. Bear broke free and attacked a leashed cocker spaniel. The cocker spaniel appeared fine at first, but soon after, the puncture wounds around his neck started bleeding and he is being evaluated at the emergency vet.   Help!!! Bones has always been an aggressive & protective dog but his bark was always worse than his bite...until today...he actually bit a 78 year old mans leg today! It drew blood & thankfully the man was very good about it (not pressing charges). Am treating this matter VERY seriously and want to take urgent action to help Bones... any trainer/ vet etc. recommendations to help!? He is 2 and a half years old & was snipped at a young age.

  Friendlydogcollars.com.au - I bought a "nervous" harness and lead for my sausage girl and it has worked wonders! People usually ask me if its ok to approach her and other pet owners attempt to keep their distance whilst still allowing her to socialise.
