My husband is recently graduated from the Virginia Theological Seminary so we are tight on budget and moving to Herndon to be closer to his first parish. The quotes I am getting are in the upper 1800-2100 range. Is this the going rate these days? Thanks!

  I did research last month on Angie’s List and Yelp when we were looking for movers for my mom’s small condo in Annandale. These are the three companies I liked. They all have good reviews and are “Angie’s List Certified” for price, quality, responsiveness, punctuality, and professionalism. In January NOVA Moving Express and G&J Moving Storage had coupons for users who find them through Angie’s List – I don’t know if the coupons are still there for February or March. I focused my research on companies for a small move; it’s possible that other companies may be better for a larger move.   LOVED My Truck Buddy . . . we just moved back to our place in Fairlington after a renovation, and they were awesome. Quick and hard working movers, they really worked fast, wrapped items well, and had a reasonable rate. I highly recommend them, and we will use them again when we move. I've used movers 6 times since living in the DC area (over 15 years), and this was my first positive experience.
