About us
The Global Center for Success is a non-profit 501 (C)(3) that has been assisting homeless, near homeless and underserved individuals on Mare Island and the Vallejo Community for almost 10 years. Here are some quick facts about our organization:
• 644 homeless individuals assisted in 2010; over 5,000 clients over the last 9 years;
• 6,475 units of service ranging from support groups, case management, life skills training, counseling, health & wellness education, and financial and computer literacy services provided in 2010;
• 12% success rate of 2006-2010 clients graduating from GCS’ Life Skills Training Program;
• Community events including two Job & Community Resources Fairs, Mare Island Historic Walking Tour, Annual Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast and the Mare Island Community Garden Project;
• 6,370 hours donated by community volunteers towards the goals and mission of Global Center for Success.
