  HD Louisiana Hi. I had a question I was hoping your group could help me with. I tested positive for HD on 1-14-14, with a CAG of 51. I did pre-symptomatic testing for many reasons. My family and I currently live in NY, but my husband, PJ Emery, is originally from New Orleans. We have decided to relocate our family down south (between now and next spring), and want to be in NOLA. Our main concern is that there isn't an HDSA Center of Excellence near Louisiana at all. The closest is in Birmingham, AL. That's over a 5 hour drive, and we have 2 young children. My question is, are there any HD positive people in the New Orleans area, and if so, where are they being treated, who are the doctors? We would give anything to be in NOLA. If anyone can help, it would be beyond appreciated. Thank you.

I do know there are many others in NOLA affected by Huntington's disease and we are in the process or getting a support group in that area.
