  I believe the closest vet that takes reptiles is VCA Animal Hospital on Boston Road in Springfield, Mass. Give them a call and see what prices would be ... it's not a serious procedure I'm sure it wouldn't cost much. (413-301-9234) Also, I would suggest to stick to the idea of having it done by a professional ... turtles/tortoises are very fragile. You want to make sure it's being handled by someone with experience.

  I know VCA animal hospital in south hadley specializes in reptiles. I brought russian tortoise there.
