I've read good stuff about places like Nui hostel or Sakura but they only seem to have 8+ dorms (let's not even count capsule places with 20+ rooms) and that's just too big for my tastes. I know K's House even has private rooms for cheap (~¥4000) but I keep reading mixed reviews about it. Do you guys know of any other places like what I'm looking for? Even an aggregator site where I can filter by dorm size would be nice.

  www.1980 stay.com/en_index.html Dirt cheap, in the center and you have your own (very small) room. Only for male backpackers though

  Ullo. Can any recommend some budget accommodation in or around Shinjuku? There don't seems to be many choices for hostels/capsules on the regular booking sites but I wonder if there will be many around which are just not listed online as with other cities?
