This may sound a little odd but I've been going to my chiro to help work knots in my calves out. He uses the Graston technique which works quite well on scar tissue (only thing that stopped the pain in my back) but seems to work on deep knots too. http://www.brownintegratedchiropractic.com/

I see Jeff Koss at Delmar Chiropractic office. He usually works in the evenings...he's great! You tell him what's wrong (he will ask!) and he will massage, stretch and work it out for you. So good!
