Can anyone recommend a good auto body shop to replace the front end of my Subaru? I won't be using my insurance if that factors into your recommendation.

Hi Brian, talk to Japanese Auto City if they can help you. They are not a body shop but they are good mechanics that maybe they can help you with your problem. 1066 W. Glebe Rd. Alexandria VA. They always helped me with my 2 vehicles with small and big repairs and I am happy with their service and prices.

We go to Beyer Collision, it is on 8153 Richmond Highway so it is kind of a haul but they know Subarus. Have had the misfortune to have reason to use them a couple of times and we were very happy with results. If you are not using insurance I imagine they will cut you a deal because dealing with insurance is a major pain for them. 703-780-7200, talk to Alan. Definitely worth a try!

I had a great experience with Arlington Collision Center. 3840 South 4 Mile Run - 703-933-0399. They worked on my Saab a few years ago.

Olde Town Autobody replaced my bumper after I was rear-ended. I was referred there by friends who were also in an accident. It's 2 blocks from Braddock Metro and easy to take a bus to the metro, then walk to the shop.

East Coast Collision is reputable and did a great job with my 4Runner, very reasonable. Ben Nielsen's Skyline Automotive (also stellar!) uses Rafi and his team exclusively. 703.461.7300. Www.eastcoastcollision.com Angela
ISO a local auto body repair shop that does nice, reasonably priced work.

Old Towne Autobody was recommeded by a friend and I've used them twice for work. Located a couple blocks from the Braddock metro, so it's easy to drop off your car and take the bus back home. http://www.oldtownautobody.com
Anyone have recommendations for an auto body shop?

Precision Collision in Lorton is fantastic. The owner Robert is one of the nicest people you'd ever want to meet and they have hundreds of thank you notes/cards hanging all over their walls.
