Dominion Jewelers in Falls Church - we had some heirloom jewelry reset and resized. I was surprised at how little it cost and appreciated the care they took with not terribly valuable, but super sentimental pieces. They aren't touchy feely, which I REALLY appreciated, I don't care for the over friendly fakey fake of places like Tiffany. But if you want that kind of experience, may not be the right place for you.

Achican in Vienna. I took a few rings in for resizing and appraisal. They did excellent work and I was very pleased. I was actually turned away from another place before finding these guys. The other place told me it would be impossible to resize them rings. So for any one looking for jewelry or repair try achican in Vienna.

Ashby Jewelers in Manassas. My husband designed my engagement ring there, and his family has been going there to get custom pieces made for years. His sister recently got a gorgeous necklace made by asking them to take a similar design they had on a ring and turn it into a pendant.

I really like Ascot Diamonds in Ballston (in the same building as Uncle Julio's). They resized my engagement ring and we also bought our bands from them. They took great care to get the size absolutely right and also checked the structure and security of the stones.

Sacramento Jewelers in Arlington! It’s very a no-frills storefront, but they’re very kind and have a quick turnaround. I went to get a bracelet resized and they did it beautifully.

My family has used Nupen jewelers in Fairfax near Fair Oaks mall for decades. Mom and pop shop, father handed the business down to his son Tor. He has handmade almost all our jewelry. We even have some of his fathers pieces. Great business.

https://www.achikian.com/ I had rings sized at this shop in Vienna off 123. Great shop. Family run. They did the resizing perfectly. Actually one other place turned me away and said they couldn’t do the work on my particular ring. I brought them to achikian and they did it perfectly.
