We'll be in LA on Christmas and need Chinese restaurant recommendations. We're staying near Universal Studios. Thanks!

Nathan's book "Car Free Los Angeles" is chock full of restaurant recommendations. There's a copy on the shelf at the Lafayette library. For a specific recommendation, we ate here with Mary's relatives during our trip down to Orange County over the summer: New Bay Seafood 203 W Valley Blvd Alhambra, CA 91801 (626) 872-6677 Yeah, it's in the San Gabriel Valley, but if you want authentic Chinese (Cantonese) food, that's where you need to go. Call and see if they're open Christmas.
