Looking for a good, but reasonably priced Vet in South Irving. The vet on Story Rd and Pioneer is good but oh so very expensive so hoping to find other options. TIA

I'm looking for a new vet in IRVING as well. I have gotten several recommendations for Dr. Burkett at Buena Vista Animal Clinic. Don't expect him to be more affordable though.
Chasidy L. replied:
Dr. Burkett was the most affordable when I called around Irving looking for a vet. A declaw for my cat was about $100. There is a place in Hurst off Precinct Line rd that offers spay & neuter plus shots for about $20 once a month. Not in Irving, but I know friends that have gone there with success.

I take both my dogs to Animal Clinic of Grand Prairie. I know it's not Irving, but it's pretty close. I love them. I haven't found more reasonable prices anywhere and their boarding is wonderful.
Chasidy L. replied:
Buena Vista animal clinic on walnut hill and story rd is cheap and awesome
Anyone know of a good veterinarian in Irving that's prices are not higher than a cats back?
Kate M. replied:
Dr. Burkett at Buena Vista Animal Clinic, across from the post office at Walnut Hill and Story.
Brenda H. replied:
Dr. Kang. O'Connor Animal North of Rochelle on O'Connor
Joy G. replied:
Dr Diaz at Vital Pet Story Road Animal Hospital at Story & Pioneer. She had been a God send when dealing with major health issues with my dogs. Always offers to try a more conservative approach first versus tons of expensive tests and pricey meds. She is a true animal lover too and is so compassionate when faced with the heartbreaking stage of having to say goodbye.

Shady Grove Animal Hospital....Dr G is great
Sharon P. replied:
Try Shady Grove Feed Store for pet food. Don't buy the cheap popular stuff as it is full of filler. Once you go to the vet keep your dog on the same food all the time. Blood is never a good sign, especially in a young animal. Could be worms, something eaten or worse. Good luck.
Hello all ? for u!! I found a stray kitten last night and would really like to keep her. But hubby says if I dont get her fixed I have to take her to the shelter. does...
Parker P. replied:
If you're in Parker County, you might try Parker County Vet Clinic (Dr. Jarrett), he advertises low-cost spay/neuters but I haven't seen his price list. We've also had luck with the Millsap Vet Clinic. Not saying anything against the others, just haven't asked if they have a "stray cat special" or anything. The Azle Shelter has a low cost clinic once a month by appt (through TCAP, see phone number below). We'll have a low cost clinic at the Weatherford Shelter (through TCAP) on September 13 by appt: 940-566-5551
ISO a vet to declaw my cat. Do any of you have a vet you have used for this, and if so, were you satisfied with the care and aftercare instructions? How much did they...
Jennifer C. replied:
For a declaw I would go to TCAP. http://www.texasforthem.org/
