You can apply online for care credit (carecredit.com) ask if the vets accept this, you don't have to wait for a card to use it, they give you an account number you can use when you check out at the vets. We utilized it in an emergency situation and it worked great. Anything over $200 is interest free for 6 months too.

Shari D. replied:
Dr Sprague & Dr Bennet always take good care of our pets at Coopersville & I tend to worry & be very selective with their care. Sorry you had a bad experience there. We've also gone to Schmitts, Sparta & Coit in past years & had good luck at all places & liked all the dr's we saw except for Dr Jone's "bedside manner" (at Schmitts, surprisingly) but that was 20 years ago. Maybe it has changed. Best of luck on finding a vet that's right for you! Jayme, when I read this post out loud, Kal said, "was that Aunt Jayme!?!" Hehehe ;)
Melissa D. replied:

I drive all the way to Caledonia, South Kent Veterinary on Broadmoor. They have the BEST prices and great Vets. I've also used Kelley's on 3 mile and Remembrance, they are great people!
Deb W. replied:
Agree Lori, I drive to Caledonia also. Dr Jackson and his staff are amazing. They treat your animal like it is one of their own. We had a bull mastiff that had the droopy eye issue...common with the breed...Dr Kelly and the Schmitt's office quoted us over a $1000.00 for the surgery for both eyes...was referred to Dr Jackson, took her out there, and he was even shocked at the price we was quoted. He said it's a very common surgery with this breed...he did both of her eyes for $175.00. Love them, so worth the drive.
