Need recommendations for pet boarding for two small dogs.
Stacy W. replied:
We went to CO for 10 days on vacation and looked for 2 months for boarding for our 3 mini schnauzers. Prices ran $750-1350. We ended up hoping or a house/pet sitter to stay at the house for our dogs, but ended up with a neighbor (3 doors down) who came to the house at least 3 times a day to feed, water, potty, play with the dogs for less than half of the quoted price for boarding them. Ann Williams at lilorfanane@gmail.com if you would like to contact her. Furry Friends run by Ann & Diana Williams. Diana is at dwilliams4313@gmail.com They reside in Cumming. After being gone 10 days I fully expected the house to smell, for them to be dirty, something, but our home smelled great, the floor and dogs were clean, happy, calm and they didn't get into any mischief while we were gone.:) VERY satisfied customer and I'd gladly choose her again for any of our pet sitting needs in the future!

I love Barkfield Inn & Suites on Mary Alice Park Road. The dogs can stay in the same room together for $70/night (no crates, but there are pet beds) and get to play outside with the doggie day care pets during the day. My three dogs loved it, and I'll definitely use them again. It's not the cheapest place around, but the dogs will be happy and well cared for.

We used Doggie VayCay and LOVED it! Beth & her family [including 3 boys] took amazing care of our dog and it was quite reasonable. $30 a night. doggievacay.com
Does anyone use a licensed and bonded professional pet sitting service they can recommend?
Hope N. replied:
Camp Bow Wow has a service called Home Buddies where they come to your place for pet sitting instead of going to them.
Jaime E. replied:
If Camp Bow Wow doesn't work out, Pet Lodge Resort over on Bethany Bend is really great. They don't come to you, but my pups have always been happy when we pick up.
Hope N. replied:
We used to use Canine Cuddle Care when we just had the cats and didn't have any friends close to watch them. Kimberly specializes in dogs but also watches cats and she is GREAT! We had her watch our kitties several times. http://www.caninecuddlecare.com/
Stephanie J. replied:
Jaime Espinel THANK you! We met Lisa from Camp BowWow about their new Home Buddies services. All Home Buddies caregivers are experienced, licensed, and bonded, they charge by the half hour, and are flexible with whatever is needed. We are very pleased.
Recommendations on Pet Boarding? We have to go out of town for a funeral next week.

Our girls board in Cumming at Atlanta Dog Training and Resort. They love this place and have time outside everyday. I highly recommend them, Margie. Their website is: http://www.atlantadogtrainer.com/pet-resort/

I trust my pets to Dahlonega Animal Hospital on 9. They take great care of the animals AND you can pick them up on Sunday.
