Mankato, MN is 507 miles from his area of ND according to Google maps. There are quite a few dentists listed on the IAOMT site for MN. You can check them out with Leo Cashman, Executive Director of DAMS, Dental Amalgam Mercury Solutions, who lives in Saint Paul. He keeps up with which dentists are using safe protocols. Contact info: www.amalgam.org I am President of DAMS, but live in Virginia.
Marie F. replied:
Let me introduce DAMS to you. It stands for Dental Amalgam Mercury Solutions, a non profit group with headquarters in Saint Paul, MN where Leo Cashman is the Executive Director. We have coordinators in most states to talk to mercury poisoned people who need help. I am in Virginia and currently am the President of DAMS. We have had phone calls from over 100,000 people over the past 20 some years who thought they might be poisoned. DAMS sends out a list of holistic dentists who safely take out mercury fillings, and an information packet on diet, detox. We publish Dental Truth magazine twice a year. Contact info: www.amalgam.org Many of us have testified at FDA hearings. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cwufln7H1Og
Marie F. replied:
Steven, call and talk to Leo Cashman and he will send you an information packet with a Dental Truth newsletter. You may want to consider becoming an Activist for DAMS in ND. Leo will be able to put you in contact with any other activists in ND if there are any. His phone number is 651-644-4572.
Marie F. replied:
Leo has a wealth of information. He is available for phone calls if you have questions related to your health issues. You don't have to become an activists. In fact we prefer people to get their own health straightened out before trying to help others. DAMS also has people in other countries. The website really needs an update. Are you familiar with Mercury Exposure on Facebook? He is in the process of making a documentary on the exposure of dentists, their staff and and patients to the vapor in dentists' offices. He has great videos on YouTube under the channel MercuryExposure. You can access the videos by going here: www.YouTube.com/user/mercuryexposure Become his friend on Facebook. He has lots of great information that he has put together from the many people connected with this movement----IAOMT, Consumers for Dental Choice, DAMS, other holistic dentists and activists. He has interviews with Dr. Boyd Haley and others who know about mercury toxicity and its relationship to Alzheimer's.

Connie ~ Sound Health Center in Anacortes, WA. Ask for Dr. Kenneth Killpack. His name might sound a little scary, but he is the most docile, compassionate, understanding dentist!!! And he did a GREAT job!!! (360)293-8451. He is my hero for taking that crap outta my head! And Dr. Russ Borneman (same place) did the surgical extractions of my teeth that had root canals done on them.
Lisa W. replied:
I have not Serena Anderson There are some in Sarasota who are $500. and One in in Clearwater who is Dr Behm..he is a little cheaper, but still more expensive then what others I know have paid in other states.
Kevin P. replied:
In Ottawa, Ontario, Canada I had a great biological dentist, Dr. Chevalier who replaced 16 amalgam fillings, at the rate of two per month over about 18 months, plus three extractions, including diseased root canals and crowns which were causing me a lot of problems throughout my body. Root canals can be worse than amalgam fillings sometimes. The digestive problems they cause can be almost unbearable. Dr. Chevalier charges between $150- $300. for porcelain fillings depending on the number of surfaces. I believe that regular dentists are contributing, knowingly or unknowingly, to a sort of well disguised population control mechanism. They also make people so sick because most people still don't understand just how lethal mercury is. And that feeds the medical industry who has no idea of what's going on either. I understand the people in this group when they say they were 'put in psychiatric hospitals'. I barely stayed sane, and kept my mouth shut even though life was unbearable because the moment you complain people start suggesting that you see a shrink. Once the medical system gets its teeth in to you they give you a label and then you have a harder time getting healthy. If you want to read my story check out www.realitycheck.typepad.com

IAOMT directory is the acronym for the correct skilled and trained dentists in your area.... Thx Melaney Tucker King! Www.IAOMT.com
Kevin P. replied:
Yes, I agree with Michelle. Stick with IAOMT dentists. It may cost you a little more but what price can you put on health and the end of suffering? If you are going to another country for cosmetic dentistry then that is a different story. I give high marks to Dr. Enrique Parra in Liberia, Costa Rica, who replaced crowns and bridges for a fraction of what it costs in Canada.

Does anyone know about zirconia dental fillings/ inlays?
I had a holistic dentist recommend them, but I don't know much about them.
Are they a healthy choice?...
Heidi H. replied:
They don't know yet. People react less than they do to titanium I think. I talked to biological dentist Dr. Diane Meyer on the phone and she doesn't place zirconia implants because she hasn't seen any conclusive evidence yet of biocompatability or of the inert substance placed on a meridian not blocking the flow of energy to all organs etc, on that meridian. The material is not a conductor of electricity I believe meaning it won't put galvanic currents into your mouth, but it may block the meridian causing disease in the organs down the line of that meridian. This dentist in Texas also says that since it has not been determined yet some biological dentists are holding out - http://www.biologicaldentist.com/2674/facts-dental-implants/ He says: "Still, not all biological dentists go the implant route. For one, there is some concern with the effects of embedding any kind of inorganic material on a meridian. Every organ in your body is situated upon one of these 12 energetic pathways that run throughout the human body. (To learn more, explore with our interactive tooth meridian chart.) To place an implant is effectively to place a block on that tooth’s meridian, disrupting energy and information flow all along it – and all tissues, organs and cells associated with it. Clinical observation has suggested that implants may be a factor in a wide array of serious inflammatory conditions, including cancer, autoimmune disorders and “enigmatic” illnesses such as CFS, MCS and fibromyalgia." I was just researching this yesterday. I have to decide what to do with two dying teeth and I'm leaning towards a partial, that wouldn't place anything on a meridian but I guess having it in would not allow the surrounding teeth to collapse in on the space, only thing is bone loss where the tooth used to be could happen. There's a dentist Dr. Plasyc who puts tiny bits of bone graft into the holes after an extraction to fill in the bone. I think that's so smart, then hopefully the shape of one's face would not change until one's super old and it doesn't matter anymore.:)

I have 7. Have been critically ill for a year fighting for my life & need to take every precaution. My dentist was personally mentored under Hugguns & he was Hugguns dentist. He follows Hal Hugguns protocol to a T.
Steve S. replied:
I had all mine done all at once over 5 weeks ago in Tijuana. I went to a Huggins recommended dentist. I did not do anything beforehand to prepare for the dental work other than stopping the enzymes I was taking because I also had a number of extractions done. I did not feel worse afterwards. The dentist also gave me IV Vitamin C during the procedures. I have not yet started chelation but I have ordered my supplies to do so. I also had the bio-compatibility blood test beforehand.

Yes. (1) Iodine: protects against aluminum, cadmium, mercury and lead. Reach body saturation level of iodine. This will take at least 3 months to achieve if you don't have thyroid autoimmune disorder. If you do, you need to do step (2) and (3) first, then (1). (2) Selenium: protects against aluminum, cadmium, arsenic, and mercury. Two months of selenium supplementation of 400 mcg/day, or two brazil nuts that each contains at least of 10 mcg of selenium. Daily Magnesium 5 mg/body weight of every lb. (3) Bowel toleration level of Vitamin C. Real vitamin C, not ascorbic acid, 3000 cc/day. Or, fake vitamin c, ascorbic acid, to 80% bowel tolerance level. (4) Both K1 and K2 of Calcium: hinders the absorption of aluminum in our body and reduces the absorption of lead, cadmium, mercury, and the dangerous strontium-90. (5) In addition, reduce the mercury content of your body now.
Anyone here in the group from Australia.? Can you please recommend good holistic dentists?

I'm not in Queensland but we were looking to travel there to get amalgam removal done properly and we found Eric Davis Dental was Huggins trained and their program looked great.

$195-$450 (large filling) with average $300. Other dentists worth checking out are John Sotis at Emerald Lakes in Queensland and Dr Andrew Taylor in Newrybar NSW. They were both really helpful and happy to answer questions. In the end we found someone in South Australia able to do a safe job and replace with Ceracs (porcelain fillings) and didn't need to travel thank goodness!
