From my experience you need the last 3 payslips from your current job that is located in Netherlands of course which proves your ability to afford an apartment. The most famous site is www.funda.nl (has also an English version). Good luck!

Hi Caterine, I bought my place a month ago and I was really happy with my makelaar ( http://www.makelaarbert.nu ). He is a one man company, so he was very attentive and I really liked working with him. He works on percentage, which scared me in the beginning, but once he advised me against couple of more expensive properties, I was convinced. You can always contact him for a chat. If it is more comfortable for you, feel free to say I recommended him to you.
