Wow, thank you for all the responses! I think I will give Drift a call, reviews were positive and its former Meg Allen brand was well received also. I've been to the Mustard Seed and I would go there again, though I was with Alexis. My go to place has been Salon Ginger but I'd like to try something different. I've been through many a stylist and, in my experience, quality work comes with a price but not all pricey services are good quality. Thanks again, you all have been very helpful!:)

If Drift doesn't have an opening for you, definitely consider Hair By Lauren. She travels to the lower 48 for classes regularly and stays current with the ever changing styles. She owns her own Salon in OKC, but is here due to a military spouse. I trust her with my hair like I never have before.

I highly recommend Rachele Williams Yeomans at Rue7 e in Anchorage! She is an amazing artist! Always consistent and she truly knows her business. Plus she is just an awesome woman!
