Can anyone recommend a good restaurant to eat at in Hilton Head?
Glen C. replied:
Salty Dog is still there. I had Margaritas there two weekends ago. Hudson is supposed to be real good and The Boat House is good.
Joni O. replied:
Last time we ate at Hudson it was terrible. There is a good one on the right going in after you go over the bridge, it's right beside the visitors center. The Crazy Crab or something like that I think.
Alicia H. replied:
Frankie Bones for variety. Crazy Crab for seafood. Reilleys for good pub food
Meridith J. replied:
The Crazy Crab is good.:)
Blair W. replied:
San Miguel's at Shelter Cove! Great Mexican with live music overlooking the marina. I second Crazy Crab next to the light house in Harbour Town.
Nancy B. replied:
Be sure to go to Harbor Town and walk around. Crazy Crab too commercialized
Who remembers the pizza restaurant with the pipe organ? It was off of Florida Ave. and I believe it was actually on University.
Mary H. replied:
Reeves Import Motorcars is there now - Motel 6 is further east on Fowler.
Jay P. replied:
J Burns Pizza and Pipes
Mark E. replied:
How sad.. but I found J Burns Pizza is still in business..thanks Jay!
Brian C. replied:
J Burns was on Fowler between Florida and 275. Master Pizza closed down in 1993.. The owner commited suicide.. Very depressing.
Margaret P. replied:
J Burns on Fowler just off Florida. During the 80's, many of the Rowdies would be there for "meet and greet" one Tuesday a month. I met and got pictures with most of the players. For a Rowdy groupie that was like heaven. The pizza was pretty good too.
Kim H. replied:
Shakeys Pizza S Dale Mabry by Britton Plaza. Loved the ole time piano player & b&w movies! That was my hangout in hi school.
Ok folks, I normally go through my sweet dear friend, Linda, for suggestions such as this but she is soaring with the angels, so sadly, I can't ask her :( I am looking...
Kay H. replied:
City Range has a room and good food...it's near Haywood Mall.
Who needs a club to have fun? All we needed was good food, a few drinks (nonalcoholic of course), fun, and family. We turned up and turned out the Mexican restaurant ;)
Temisha B. replied:
Kenneth ExquisiteEnt Allen we were on 24 at the Mexican restaurant
