Mekong on Wade Hampton has some of the best Vietnamese I've had the pleasure to eat. Staff is friendly, food is cheap for the quantity you get, and they have a garden right out back so everything is super fresh.

It's just bagel sandwiches, but Sully Steamers makes some really good ones. It's my favorite lunch spot.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I've actually never been to any of the places suggested by you guys so I can't wait to try them.

I finally ate Pita House for the first time. It's legit. Bring cash or check. Edit: While I'm at the top, I'll let you guys know my wife's favorite place. http://www.thethairestaurant.net/ Surprised I don't see it mentioned more. Try the b-4 Tom Kha Gai. Decent lunch prices too.

My three favorites in the area right now: **Stellas Southern Brasserie** - Southern food with a French flair, with a tidy Parisian cafe feel. Excellent brunch and dinner. **The Anchorage** - Eclectic farm to table menu with a focus on sharing plates. The tasting table offers a bit of everything on the menu for $50/pp **Golden Brown and Delicious** - Only had their brunch so far. Casual, but very detail oriented, food. Fantastic chicken & waffles.

The Golden Llama in Five Forks is amazing. Get any entree, not sandwich, and I promise you will be happy. Also, I'm not a fan of Tandem crepes, it's like an omelette, Exchange Co seems to have the best in town.

If you are into Mexican or seafood (or both!) I have to recommend Mazatlan Mariscos on White Horse. We drive from Spartanburg at least once every couple of months for it. Really yummy!

La Reata in Taylors is my top pick. The service is top notch. The food is fresh and if you want something special not on the menu they will go out of their way to make it. If you like a salsa bar this is the best.

I did the freedom trail walk and stumbled on some cool places. There is an old cemetery in the area as well, where Samuel Adams is buried. It gives you a great sense of the history of our country. Wish I could remember the name of the pub i went to. It was close to the commons. But i am sure there are a bunch.

Shawn Higgins lives there. You should look him up.

Ned Devine's at Quincy Market on weekend nights, get there after 10 for live music but before 1130 it fills up quick. Fenway bars are the best sports spots. If you want to see Red Sox Nation in playoff mode, Yawkey Way shuts down before the home games.
Need a recommendation in Greenville for a restaurant with a private room for a family reunion. Needs to be private enough to play acoustic guitar (no amplification). ...
