[Jessica](http://www.salonvox.com/team/stylists/jessica-hall/) at [Salon Vox](http://www.salonvox.com/). A bit more pricey but definitely worth it in my experience if you're wanting something more than a trim.

I went to Above Ground for a while and the crowd seemed very young and, um, "hip" ... I guess.

I would not recommend OZ. Their reviews are filtered by Genbook and they only publish 5 star reviews. You cannot review them unless invited by the Salon. Not fair. I did not get a bad hair cut there - more like a two star.

There's an Aveda student center near the actual Aveda hair place. The cuts at the student center are (as expected) done by students and watched by teachers, but I've never had a bad cut there. Price is $16 flat and no tipping.
Looking For a Barber I'm new to the city and I need a good haircut, are there any shops anyone can recommend? I normally like a fade along the sides and to keep the top...

I've really enjoyed Taylor & Colt on Liberty. Been going to Kyle M there for over a year I think. It isn't cheap but I'm always happy with the results and experience.

Terry at Campus Barber is good. You can get a cut for like $17 there. Most of the people there are pretty good. I've also had Meeghan. It obviously caters to students because of location, but there are also plenty of locals that go there.

Mirage on packard. Long waits on fridays. Not all speak English well but Bero or MJ can fade you up for 15 bucks.

I go to Kurt at Orbit Hair Design. I'm really particular about my haircuts and he has never done me wrong... it's definitely not cheap though.

Varsity Barber on Liberty is great. Long lines these days, but otherwise a great classic guys barbershop

Tiffany Hardison,
Do you know of any natural hair stylist/barber in Miami?? I'm thinking about a new cut and I need a skilled shears master for the up keep.

Ann Arbor friends.:Can you recommend a good and reasonably-priced haircutter? Extra points for someone especially good with curly hair. The locks are outta control!
