My 3 year old German shepherd has been limping for the past few days. He doesn't want to put any pressure on his rear left leg. We can't afford a hefty vet bill for...

Champlin Park pet hospital took me for a fortune and told me she had lymes disease, I insisted it was not Lyme's. After days on meds she was not any better, ended up going to Rum River Vet clinic in anoka and they did an xray on her leg (which was the original reason we brought her in) and it ended up be aggressive bone cancer. Our lab now has a ligament in his knee that is torn, they knew by feeling it without the xray.

If you don't mind the drive Annandale Vet is awesome! Their prices are way cheaper than out here. It's about an hour drive, but we'll worth it to save hundreds.

https://www.facebook.com/RamseyAnimalHospital My absolute favorite place to bring my own animals. They won't treat or do anything wo talking to you and getting your approval. If you tell them you are on a budget they will most of the time not charge you for the exam fee

My dog had the same issue. We go to local place, Champlin Pet hospital on Douglas/109 th. They are always great.
Carol M. replied:
Dr. Kat at Champlin Park Pet Hospital is fabulous! If you tell her your budget limit, she will do whatever she can to work within it. Another option you might want to look in to is Care Credit. You can apply online and get a decision within a few minutes.
Looking for an affordable vet for annual check ups for dogs and cats. Thanks!

I just took my puppies this am to Ramsey Animal Hospital. Very nice! Shots are a little more than other places (not much, but a little), but they don't charge an office visit fee. Found most do! And at $50/ with 3 dogs, that's $150 just to walk in the door.

We've been breeding and raising dogs for many years and still prefer Bass Lake Pet Hospital. I think your doing the right thing by asking. Check a couple out and see who you click with.
For well visits and if meet income guidelines, Kindest Cut in Golden Valley. They do have limited hours. Their website lists their services and prices along with hours they are open.

Barrington Oaks is horrible! Call exotic animal wellness in Elk River by Timeout. They work within your budget and are fabulous! Did I mention holistic also?
Joe J. replied:
St Micheal. Zimm vet also. No vet directly in elk river is cheap and you don't get what you pay for
Danielle C. replied:
I like Animal & Exotic Wellness Center in Elk River. Prices seem reasonable and she is clear with what she thinks is medically necessary versus pushing vaccines, medicines, and tests.
