I really like Andover Animal Hospital for regular vet visits. If you like the concept of holistic care then Dr. Levy at Holistic Animal Care in Blaine iz awesome. As for Hair, Element Salon off of 114 th has some really great stylists. Vehicle Maintence: Champlin Auto has been fantastic. Gary is the owner and he is reasonably priced and is always honest. He had been servicing my vehicles as well as many of my friends and family for about 15 years and we have never had an issue.

Amber V. replied:
We recently had to have a car towed to Champlin Auto Care. We told Gary what we thought was wrong with it, which would have been a pretty penny to fix. He called later that day and told us it turned out to be only a sensor. He's a good, honest guy. He easily could have gone with what we said and charged us a couple hundred more than what he did.
Lise K. replied:
Welcome Daun! I vote for Dr Douglas at the Douglas Animal Hospital in Osseso. She and all her crew are amazing with pets AND their owners! Very reasonable. https://www.facebook.com/DouglasAnimalHospital

Debbie, have them call Best Friends Vet Clinic in Albertville. 763-515-6446Dr. Sell and her team are awesome and will take great care of the puppy. Make sure to bring all paperwork and details of what they have done with the puppy over the weekend so the next vet can easily see what's been going on.
Lauren R. replied:
We go to Foley Animal Hospital in Coon Rapids. They are pretty reasonable. We like Dr McHale and Dr Slinger
Heather K. replied:
Blue Pearl saved my dog with pneumonia. And they are very very good - 24 hour care, excellent doctors and facilities. BUT it was very expensive. I would ask for overnight quotes for what you need for her. Also have the vet send all your paperwork with you so you can give it to whomever you choose.
Hi. I need to take my dog to a vet tonight or right away in the morning (probably tonight). Does anyone know of a good, lower-cost vet in the area? Thanks.

Does anyone know the most cost effective vet to get a cat neutered and declawed in the area?
Roy H. replied:
Champlin Pet Hospital 109 th & Douglas
Leslie W. replied:
Kindness Cuts, Golden Valley
Cheryl A. replied:
Most vets will not do a de-claw. Take a look at your own hand. A declaw is not removing the fingernails. It is chopping the toe off at the last knuckle. MNSNAP and KindestCut are the cheapest, but they will require proof of being in a low income category. Otherwise Mission Animal Hospital, which I think is in Eden Praire.
Nicki J. replied:
Oh please don't have the cat declawed!!! Read about this!!! Www.thepawproject.com
Chantel H. replied:
People are getting a bit extreme here. This is a decision that your family and your vet should make together in the best interest of your cat. People posting about the cruelty forget that many places forbid cats to live there without proof of being fixed and declawed to prevent property damage. We've gotten our cats taken care of at Bass Lake Pet Hospital in New Hope, they are wonderful. We never had any issues. I would encourage you to speak with your vet about your options just like you would your doctor about your own body. They can give you the best information without using images and scare tatics to sway your opinion.

Sarah M. replied:
My parents yellow lab was just diagnosed with the same thing. Its not close but they have been very pleased with the service at Rogers Pet Hospital. They did three rounds of medication to see if it could repair itself since it wasnt a complete tear but now surgery is the only option for him since the meds didnt work. Blue Pearl is also an amazing place we brought our other lab that had cancer.
Tami A. replied:
Rum River Vet in Anoka. They just did my fogs ACL. They are amazing!
Nicki F. replied:
Our lab had one done in BP and one done at the UofM... Very expensive. I recommend the UofM. For the most part the surgeon that goes out to Twin City vet hospitals is out of the same practice, they travel. A regular Vet is not qualified to do this surgery.
I know people ask this a lot but I'm looking for a low income vet clinic. My cat is sick and I'm a single mom of three kids. So I can afford a whole lot or somewhere...
Joanne P. replied:
Elm Creek is awesome.

Mission Animal Hospital in Eden Prairie is very affordable and offers payment plans in certain cases. The rescue group I volunteer with uses them and they're great. http://missionah.org/pricing/index.html
Jen O. replied:
I recommend Mission Animal Hospital
Carol M. replied:
ValueCare Vet in Chaska is also a lower cost clinic. I've heard a lot of good things about them. http://www.valuecarevet.com/
Carol M. replied:
I take my pets to Champlin Park Pet Hospital (LOVE Dr. Kat!). They do accept Care Credit, but I don't believe they accept any type of payment plan. If you're interested in applying for Care Credit, you can do so online and get a decision within a few minutes. Care Credit is a credit card, but they offer 6 month, no interest financing (with on time payments) if you spend a certain amount at one time.
Looking for a vet... Like them to be very passionate and patient!!
