I went to him for a consultation. I ended up going with Dr. Esterkyn. No fault of Dr. Cain's, I just had braces with Esterkyn before so I knew him. Dr Cain seemed very professional and knowledgeable, but I only saw him the one time.

Thanks! I also had Dr. Esterkyn. I don't think he's on our insurance (Cigna), but our dentist office wrote the referral for Dr. Cain without telling me my options.

I think Janet Alexander - Miranda's mom - works or worked for Dr. Cain. I know she really felt good about his orthodontia and working for him at that time.

We went to him for a consultation for Ais, Karyn-he came highly recommended from a few people when I asked for information. Ais chose Dr. Sheffield for no reason other than she wanted to just get started (Dr. Cain told us to come back in a year). Drs. Cain, Esterkyn and Sheffield all appear to have good reputations in East County. Good luck!!
