If you have benign positional vertigo, the PT can help. I have vertigo from Meniere's syndrome, an inner ear condition, not BPV. Central Carolina ENT Dr Le Lievre 919-363-9311 in Apex and Sanford is a vertigo specialist and has helped me tremendously with meds and treatments I had not heard of before. The steroids did not help me, either.

I see a surgeon at Duke named Dr. Kaylie for BPPV as a lateral condition to two cholesteatoma removals and reconstructive surgery. It's an awful thing to deal with, the vertigo. Aside from Valium and PT there's not a whole lot you can do. The Epley exercises help but they are by no means a cure. Good luck. I've been dealing with balance issues since 2004. It's no fun walking drunk when you're sober lol

Blue Ridge Pediatrics - Dr. Louis Allen in particular. Great guy, great with children. If he's still working when I have children, they'll go to him. It's in Raleigh, adjacent to Rex Hospital.
