Denae- if you find yourself in Fletcher, which is close to Asheville, stop in at Baabal's Ice Cream shop. It's an old house that has transformed to a quaint ice cream shop, also have hotdogs and coffee and fresh squeezed lemonade. They have other homemade deserts and menu items. (It is owned my my husbands brother and named after his family members' first initial). If you do, please tell the owner or owners wife that we sent you!

Did this in September. It's an easy but pretty hike following the river. https://www.exploreasheville.com/stories/post/laurel-river-trail/ We stopped at Lookout Brewery in Black Mountain on the way into town. Get the rye IPA there and bring over a pizza from across the street!

A Moment in Time in Hendersonville (not Asheville but did a great job on an antique clock I have).
