Beer City Bicycles on Biltmore (past the orange peel) has been really good to us, and Liberty Bikes on Hendersonville Rd has too. Bent Creek is great for mtn biking! I moved here with a hybrid and then realized that having a true mtn bike and a true road bike would be much better on this terrain.

Check with Sundog Outfitters, they're about 5 steps from the Creeper. Depending on what time you plan on finishing, you may want to reserve space on a shuttle. They fill up fast on weekends.

The guys at Creeper Trail Bike Shop shuttled us last year (just running), I thought it was very reasonable. They have a shop in Damascus and also in Whitetop.
