Rachel, I've had a friend that has worked at Country Paws and at Country side Kennel as well. Country side is amazing and she rates it much higher. Rebecca is certified in both pet and human first aid and CPR and always keeps a first aid kit readily available. go to www.petsit.com and plug in zipcode. hire someone who is insured and bonded, interview them... so many horror stories of people who leave their dogs (especially newly adopted) with friends or family and they get out, run away, etc.

We've used Stepmagar Kennels twice now with Lily recently. $20/night. Lily seemed to do well there and came home in good spirits each time (and she's picky about where she stays) . Beth Harris is a GREAT dog sitter! She kept our boys for us on numerous occasions driving back and forth to Waynesville. Gina Jones Warren also did a great job for us but I didn't ask her to do it after she married.
