I work at Furkids. We are on Union Hill road. We are a no kill shelter. All of the available dogs are listed here - Furkids.org - All of the dogs are up to date on shots, are spayed/Neutered, and microchipped.

The county animal shelter is just past Highway 369 off 400. Make the first left just past 369. The Forsyth County Humane Society is less than 5 minutes from there as well, off Hwy 306/Keith Bridge Road. Thank you in advance for adopting from either one!

There are two. The Humane Society which is a no-kill shelter and the county Animal Shelter on Old Atlanta Road. It is a kill facility, probably several hundred dogs and cats each month. There are a lot of rescue groups around and they generally can be seen on the weekend in front of Petsmart or that other pet store, both on Marketplace Boulevard. There are also several breed specific rescue groups in the area.
