Peggi Cordero and Cat Roche consignment stores are very picky about items they select for consignment. They usually want items that they know their customers will buy. Items should be in season, new to gently worn, department store- designer brands. My suggestion is to contact each store and find out what items they are currently taking in.

(1) Building codes really should require showers for people who commute via bike, walking, or running. (Yes, I had a friend who was a run-commuter.) (2) Federal, city, & county buildings should have showers for not just government workers, but also anybody working nearby. (3) Until 1 & 2 happen, there's this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Naked_Bike_Ride

My commute is only 3 miles & I go slow. I wear dresses & skirts with biker shorts under (not padded, just needed so I don't flash people) when it's hot. I wear shirts that look nice under things & then keep various sweaters & wraps to put over them at my desk. The key is no cotton - all quick dry materials. I shop a lot at Half Moon Outfitters & REI & online at Title Nine (no local stores yet).

[Briar Vista](https://www.yelp.com/biz/briar-vista-shoe-shop-atlanta) - they do okay work, the repairs we had them do was much better quality than Bennies. They are way behind - they extended hours and added another day being open and still fell behind, so just be mindful they are probably that busy for a reason. [Ansley Shoes](https://www.yelp.com/biz/ansley-shoes-and-baggage-repair-atlanta) - they are supposed to be good and I'm going to try them next

They are cash only, and that comes with all the attendant saltiness, but here ya go: Plaza Shoe Shop 676 North Highland Avenue Northeast # A, Atlanta, GA 30306 (404) 874-5094https://goo.gl/maps/GrSiUBrHgFq

Best cobbler I've found is Village Shoe Repair in Tucker. He does the resoles for my boots, but I think this could be within his scope.

There's guy named Dick Darby. He served his time at ould camp. Some call him an old agitator, but now he's resolved to repent.

I think there is a really nice establishment named Peaches of Atlanta that should have what you’re looking for
Do you guys have any recommendations on places to drop clothes, shoes, etc. to a family or families in need? I don't want it to go to goodwill. Thanks for your help!

I wouldn't suggest Hope House. The familes dont get the items. They ho into a thrift store just like goodwill. Research them first. They also go under the name of NSprire Outreach. http://www.give.org/charity-reviews/national/religious/nspire-outreach-in-lawrenceville-ga-44359

You should take them Bennie's. It's at Syndney Marcus and Piedmont. [Here's their site](http://www.benniesshoes.com/). Also, the shoe shine guy takes cash only. So bring some with.
