There's a shoe repair shop at Lenox Square near the mens department entrance to Bloomingdales. They always seem pretty disinterested and asshattish, but they do good work.

It's not close to EAV, but on the corner of 14 th and cresent in midtown there's a small shoe shop in a tiny store in the parking garage building. He does all my shoes and some of my coworkers. Decent work. Usually $20 and up.

Take them to [Briar Vista Shoe Shop](http://www.yelp.com/biz/briar-vista-shoe-shop-atlanta). Avi's the best repair guy in town. Trio Shoe Service is also good. (Whatever you do, don't go to Bennie's. Not only are they overpriced and not very good, they're also HUGE assholes.)

http://www.yelp.com/biz/midtown-shoe-repair-atlanta This guy is the soup nazi of shoe repair. I don't think I spoke more than three words to him on drop off or pick up. $10? for goodyear resoles. The workmanship could probably be better, but he did a good enough job on a pair of AE's I had for around 10-15 bucks.
Anyone have any suggestions for a good shoe repair place? Ideally looking for a cobbler, but a good quality repair service will do for now. Neil Ramsay? Anyone?

Cobblestone Quality Shoe Repair is the place I'm talking about.
hey ATL, good shoe repair place for the money? (personally like/use the guy off Ponce next to Midtown alterations place near Blvd, but he doesn't do a great job honestly)

We always go to Ansley Shoe & Luggage Repair, in Ansley Mall (near Cook's Warehouse). Quick story: Last fall Stuart and I went to them with two battered COACH LEATHER document satchels (both over 20 years old, dry and brittle - Stuart found them in a box of junk in his parents' basement). They gently cleaned and conditioned the satchels over a period of days (so the leather could adapt to the change), for a ridiculously small price. Wonderful guys - can't say enough good things about them.
