Check out a guy called Gord Searle. I used his technique to re train my non loading mare Doesn’t help answer why she’s started not to load though. Could be a mare thing. My other girl sees the trailer and stomps upto the ramp and then plants her feet, yet at a show loads on and off several times absolutely fine. I then applied Gords technique to her and now walks straight on nearly every time

Jess Edwards, highly recommended. Has worked wonders in a few visits with one of mine.
Catherine B. replied:
Is your horse in work? If so, I would highly recommend Jo Spear who is a physiotherapist. If your horse isn't in work, then I would poss go for someone who is more of a massage therapist. I think it does depend on the reasons you want your horse looked at as to who you use. You will be looking at a minimum of £40 a session whoever you use x
Caron W. replied:
Dawn McCaig has managed to sort our mare out who was awful! Can't recommend her highly enough!! Sherry Wickers (Sherry Equine Physiotherapist) really helped with our pony, so another I can recommend:) x

Cathy K. replied:
Our vets are Woodfarm Vets and they are wonderful. All horse owners themselves, they are quick to respond, knowledgeable, supportive, helpful and reasonably priced. Laura and Hannah in particular are highly recommended. One of my ponies had cancer surgery recently and I couldn't have been happier with the quality of care.
Equine dentist or vet?
If your choice is to use an equine dentist who would you recommend that covers the (North) Norfolk area?
Jenny K. replied:
Carrie Marie Massingham or Abigail Bowyer
Chloe H. replied:
EDT Mark Youngs !
Poppy W. replied:
Dentist. Defo. Not sure who covers your area, I personally use (and highly recommend) James Arkley but I'm not sure if he comes out quite as far as north Norfolk. If you can get him, do, he's utterly amazing.
Denise C. replied:
Carrie Marie Massingham, is brilliant x
Michelle B. replied:
Always a dentist. You won't go to a dr for teeth and same for ponies. James P Sheppard is due down around the 18 th. You won't find better in the country. But always check out whoever you use. Xx

Forageplus and Progressive Earth do the best balancers. Use feeds that are as unprocessed as possible - eg Thunderbrook, Agrobs, and add some micronised linseed. Avoid supplements with added iron, always go for good levels of copper and zinc for hoof health. https://forageplus.co.uk/ https://progressive-earth.com/
