Pace Bend Park, it was empty last weekend. You have to physically drive out there and make a reservation in person for the improved camping that has RV hookups. Small campground, quiet place normally. RV sites are fairly to each other. About an hour outside of town.

What about McKinney Falls state park?

You've got good suggestions here, others to consider that aren't too far: Buescher State Park (45 mins), Inks Lake State Park (about an hour). The LCRA system also has [some parks with RV hookups](http://www.lcra.org/parks/results.html). Canyon of the Eagles is nice. South Shore in Bastrop used to be nice but I haven't been there since the wildfires and don't know whether it was affected (I'd call first if I were you).

Pedernales Falls or Enchanted Rock may have space. Bastrop is a possibility.

[Emma Long](http://austinparks.org/our-parks.html?parkid=247) It's right on the lake. Each RV spot has about half an acre to themselves. And during the fall/winter it's pretty empty so you might have the whole park to yourself.

Thanks for all of the input. We ended up at Cedar Breaks Park in Georgetown. Very quaint and right on the water. Only $24 a night. Would highly recommend it

Thanks for the invite, but I will have too many tournaments during the spring to fish around here. https://www.facebook.com/454168084623245 TTZ has their championship there this year, so I will be going there for that, but that will be later on in the year.

I don't know how the run is yet this year, but Colorado Bend State Park has great camping and the whites should be coming through soon. Also great catfishing there. I love it out there.
