I get jobs from care.com alot but I think they make parents pay to look for caregivers. You can post on craigslist for free I think, they have a job posting section. I go to other people's homes to provide care.
I need a gym with childcare. We tried the Y in Round Rock but can't go back there ever. The Rec Center website says they don't take children under one year. My...

I teach Stroller Strides at Berry Springs Park MWF from 9-10. We are a full body workout including cardio, strength training and core with kiddos in tow. We sing songs, read books, blow bubbles to keep babies happy. Plus we offer play dates once a week and MNO once a month. Check out our site and let me know if you have questions. Our first class is FREE!! http://austin.fit4 mom.com

Melody Lusk, that would be great but I doubt it would work with a 4 year old, two 2 year olds, and a 5 month old. Thanks though.

Mary Crouch Ridgeway every kiddo is different but I've got a 4 year old, 2 year old and a just turned 1 year old. Granted they've been doing this with me for a while but they love it as much as I do. Their friends are our Stroller Strides friends and look forward to playing and being outside. Karissa - your first class is always free. You can sign up at the link above!!

Welcome Mary Crouch Ridgeway! I have been going to Golds for 8 years - all my kiddos have survived the kids club ;) Stroller Strides would be an awesome option - plus it gives you the community of other moms/kiddos. I teach group fitness in Georgetown but no childcare:( Brandy Cox could be an option for you! I have a 6:30 class on Tuesdays and Thursday's at Premium Blend Fitness (above The Hollow) www.nikkifit.me/piyolive Would love to have anyone join and good luck Mary!

Best north Austin childcare options/ ones to avoid Hi reddit!
My son is a year old and I'm headed back to work. I'm looking for safe and learning-centered childcare...

I recommend children's network. It's on Cassady, near the intersection with Amherst. It's also across the street from summit elem. My kiddo's been going there for 4 years now. PM me if you want their phone number.

I highly recommend International Montessori House of Children - my son and I love this little school! There are 2 locations http://www.internationalmontessori.net/

Arbor Montessoir would be on your Husband way to work, it's off of Jollyville Rd. I didn't much care for the level of education provided for older kids but for babies I think they'd be good. Cedar park is probably a no-go for you but my daughter started at Cedar Park Montessori at around 18 months, not sure how much younger they go. I really like the school, my son is about to start 4 th grade there.

I am familiar with some of the North Austin Montessori options, but it would help to know where in North Austin you are and which direction you commute.

[Eco Kids] (http://ecokidsprek.com/) is really great. The 3 meals are served everyday (it's all vegetarian and organic if that matters), the teachers are some of the best I've worked with, Albert Clary (the director) is very accommodating and sweet. They have 2.5 year olds doing simple math in that school. Kind of a hidden gem in Austin.

Gethsemane Lutheran Children's Ministry is amazing. The staff is very friendly, and it's reasonably priced. If you are non religious don't let it being attached to a Lutheran Church scare you off. The religion that makes it into the classroom more along the lines of the Golden Rule, instead of reciting Bible scripture.
