We haven't stay here, but friends have that live in Byron have and they thought it was good. http://www.ballinalakeside.com.au/ It is 30 k's south of Byron. There is one opposite the Byron Golf Club, sorry can't remember it's name. Anyway, try this link http://www.byron-bay.com/caravan/ This is embarrassing, but they change names every so often, I should know them all, Fysh is born and bred The Bay, I lived their for 10 odd years, still have family there. Hope those links help :)

Ballina Lakeside is good, also, Ballina Central is good for a short stay (there are water slides across the road)..Central is simple, but good... we stay there at Christmas time

Lake Ainsworth Big 4 at Lennox Head. There is a couple of parks in Byron, there is one right n the beach in Byron and two just out of town at Belongil and I think there is one at Suffolk Park. There are even a couple of good ones at Brunswick Heads, Massey Green is a good one at Brunswick.
Hi. Just wondering if anyone knows of a free camp near Ballina qld. Thank you.

Bicentennial Park is now closed. Ballina Council and the Caravan Parks have firmly placed Ballina on the DRIVE THROUGH list for RV tourists. Really a shame, I loved visiting Ballina.
