Calling all Moms!! I am looking for a new pediatrician in the area. The one we are currently going to in Clifton Park is TRULY getting on my nerves. The girls call him...
Lynne H. replied:
We love Capital Care Peds too.
Cathy T. replied:
I also use Dr. Gayle Buckley at Mohawk Family medicine off of exit 11. I love that she has walk in sick visits every day from 7:30-8:30 am. The kids are on any needed antibiotics by 9:30 and back in school the next day!:D
Madeline S. replied:
I go to Dr. Gaston at Capital Care Pediatrics. All the doctors there are great. Been there for years.
Kelly S. replied:
Shaker Pediatrics in Latham. I'm one of their nurses there, I highly recommend them, we are open 7 Days a week, our doctors are on call at all times. Same day appointments. 518-783-5563. Give us a call, you won't regret it: )

We are huge fans of Capital Care Pediatrics! Dr. Gaston, Dr. Pascual & Dr. Compa are fabulous!
Alexis R. replied:
Dr. Lange at Four Seasons Pediatrics in Clifton Park is excellent. I can't say enough about him. He LISTENS--not just to the parent, but the kiddos too. He is equally good with young kids and teenagers. He is a good diagnostician, caring, respectful, top notch in every way.
Seema C. replied:
I would second Four Seasons Pediatrics in Clifton Park......my kids usually go to Dr. Miller there but Dr. Lang is good too...
Donna C. replied:
I've been taking my kids to Dr Buckley and staff over at Malta Pediatrics at exit 11 for 17 years (899-4133). Friendly staff, reasonably on time (apologetic if not), same day appointments (2 nd office in Burnt Hills), AMC students rotate through (so they are also teaching, which means they are up to date on new info) and the kids love it...but then they hand out Icee Pops at the end of the visit, so what's not to like?:)
Rosemary S. replied:
Christine Panzarino Jimenez, Dr Compa heard my daughter had an appendectomy this week and called her in the hospital to talk with her .. We did not go to their office, we went to the hospital straight from Urgent Care so she wanted to speak with her.. She is the most caring and involved doctor I know.
Getting pretty irritated with our current pediatrician! Anyone have recommendations in the Malta area, maybe Clifton Park?
Gretchen B. replied:
Clifton Park Ped. On Route, they are right next to Giffy's. The girls see Dr. Mehta, the # is 371-5437.

Kelly C. replied:
We go to Four Seasons in Clifton Park and have really liked it so far. We got a lot of good recommendations before we switched!
Sarah S. replied:
We may look into Four Seasons. Just really fed up with Malta Pediatrics and how they're handling all this stuff with Lily!
Sarah S. replied:
Yeah, I do wonder about reflux...she spits up a lot! I think I'll call Four Seasons on Monday and see if they can get her in. The good news is, I don't think she's constipated anymore. The bad news is, I had an unfortunate way of finding that out. I need a shower.
Anyone out there have a female Doctor you love? It's time to change my girls from a pediatrician to a family practice. I love mine but she isn't taking any new...

To all of our North Country people.....we have a couple looking for a pediatrician/family practice/NP who is OK with no vax. Any ideas?
Heather J. replied:
I live in Warrensburg and use Dr. Poonthota at Health Center you could always consult with her, I think you may just have to sign a waiver but she's a great Pediatrician from India so she's not against mixing eastern and western medicine hope that helps:)
