I found a plumber in Bangkok (strangely, by way of a mailed flyer for German shower fixtures giving away his installation services as a bonus). I Googled the name of the business and found a website with language options in English, Japanese, and Thai. I don't know about quality, but I figured if this place selling expensive shower equipment is 'recommending' him, then I would pass on the info, as I have seen several posts looking for a plumber. http://www.mrmacrooter.biz/

browse through search "eletrician" history - https://www.facebook.com/groups/DSBKK/search/?query=electrician || Homepro - inquirer about items you wanted, they screened the installers quite well in my opionion. Had a good undersink water heater installed a few yrs back, lost# though.

❗️HELP NEEDED❗️
Does anybody know how to fix this thing? Normally it lights up when it's plugged, now it doesn't. I asked some electrician and he said the bulbs...
Proteus G. replied:
Oh Joseph Lo Monaco is probably right. Looking closer those black bits aren't mounting points but just plastic covering over one long curved (therefore neon) bulb so light will only show on horizontal exposed points. Definitely need to take to neon sign shop.
John P. replied:
Looks older than I thought from the front -- a replacement transformer probably run you around 2500 baht is my guess. No idea in Bangkok where to get one but you can start with a call or email to these guys http://www.signworks.co.th/sw/webpages/contactus.aspx
Jeezybelle J. replied:
i called the Sign Works company already but they said they will contact me back. but still wanna find other places just in cases.
Jeezybelle J. replied:
John Poole- yes i am Thai.:) and i looked up in google in thai with many thai words possible. a lot of (potential) electricians are not in bkk so i'm still trying to find the ones in BKK (some are in bkk but have no idea how to fix). I might as well carry it to Fortune Town if that helps.
Francesco N. replied:
Cool sign... if you are trying to preserve the original neon lighting, you will be hard pressed to find a decent technician in Bangkok. However, if you are interested in just getting it to work, then you should look at replacing the lights with LED colored light strips. L&E have these, but you can also try the LED shop between the BTS Sanam Pao and BTS Aree.
I recently read a posting from somebody who "installed core balance" in their thai home to make their electricity safer.
- What exactly is this?
- Is it likely that...
