Health Land (Ekkamai) has been amazing for me - they let you lie on your side.
Shari D. replied:
Yeah, the therapeutic massages at Health Land are mostly on your side. Only a short time at the end is on your stomach with your head cranked to the side. But if you don't want the pressing and squeezing of the therapeutic massage and you want a nice swedish or oil massage, then you've gotta spend a lot of time with your head cranked!

http://www.healthlandspa.com/ they are very professional, I would recommend you to take the Thai massage its 500 Baht for 2 hours, you have one in Sukhumvit near Asok Terminal 21 and 1 in Ekkamaai,

To be honest thats the only place where I can recommend as being legit in a way that its good value, most of the other places are low and want to get you to spend more, might be a good idea to look on craiglist.com on the Thailand section you can order someone to come to your place and you can ask them to do the requirements you need, other then that I am not sure, I can also recommend Ivan Roca if you have pain as he is very good and professional for healing so you may want to contact him.

Thanks for recommendation. Here you can find out more about my work. www.biotherapy.asia

Khaosan Road when I went a few days ago had lots of massage places and all seemed legit, especially the foot massages. I personally went to Khao san Thai massage and it was great and not shady. In general if the prices are low and the masseuse are not all young hot women (Or shirtless guys) then you're in luck.
ThongLo replied:
Check out the Health Land chain. A little pricier than the hole-in-the-wall places, but very professional and not at all seedy. Prices and locations on their website. http://www.healthlandspa.com/

We got a foot massage twice a day in random massage places and they were all family friendly. Free WiFi means our kid could just go on Youtube Kids for an hour while we relaxed and got massages.

Maybe you could go into a nice hotel, act like you are a guest, and ask the concierge to recommend a place. You might pay a little more, but will probably get what you want.

Try Wat Po and Chatuchak. I've seen some before in JJ Mall. You can ask the merchants in this area. Better bring a picture with u of the one you want so you can communicate immediately. Also, watch out for OTOP Fairs, Beauty and Wellness Fairs in town. There are so many participating booths selling these things around.
