We've gone to Dr. Price in Calimesa for over 10 years. He's super patient, takes plenty of time with our pets, and you can tell he really loves animals and enjoys what he does. He's incredible!!!
Does anyone have a favorite vet? I have been going to Banning Vet Hospital but I choose not to go there anymore. I would be interested to know who some of you think has...
Nancy T. replied:
In retrospect, I would advise any canary owner not to have the beak trimmed by anyone and I am sorry I hadn't gone to Bracken Bird Farm further down the road who had a lot of experience with canaries. The first vet at Banning Vet. Hospital who took care of my canary was a seasoned elderly vet and worked swiftly but came up on the bird in a gentle way that seemed to relax her. The second and last vet didn't seem to be as experienced and he worked slowly almost like he didn't feel comfortable doing it. - I've wondered why they never made any official comment or words of comfort as another vet had done in Texas when I had to put my dog to sleep. Probably they didn't want to deal with a suit as some might sue, which I wouldn't do as it doesn't bring back my pet and would only bring more distress.
Sheryl F. replied:
I have been happy with Beaumont Animal Hospital. Nancy, I'm so sorry about your canary. They should have sent a card, at least.
Nancy T. replied:
I am going to go ahead and see a female vet at Banning Vet Hospital today as my husband took my dog there to her before and was impressed. I still feel the old feelings coming back but since they are the closest and I don't really know another good vet nearby and feel I must get my dog over there today. My dog usually walks all over Sun Lakes but as of two days ago she stopped and couldn't go further. She doesn't have any palapable pain but is really acting weird.

Dr. Jessica Green at BVH has been wonderful with my Mom's dog.
Nancy N. replied:
I take my 2 dogs to Calimesa vet, Dr. Price or Dr. Ngo. It is 20 min. down the road, though, but came highly recommended by a neighbor when we moved here 3 years ago. I do miss our old vet in Hacienda Heights!

Nancy Neuharth Troyer I order Arthrydex from Youngevity 1 800 982-3189 for Toby. The man who invented it was a vet and I believe this is his own company. It has over 70 plant derived minerals. A complete Nutritional Supplement with Vitamins, Enzymes and Amino Acids just for your pet. It worked works wonders for Toby, my twelve yr old Mini Schnauzer....he's the one in the newspaper a week ago Sunday walking with my Barefoot hubby.

Dr. Sandhu at Beaumont Animal Hospital. They take care of our dogs and we love them. Very reasonable and honest, they don't pad the bill or recommend anything that isn't necessary.

I called Banning vet to get price to spay my 5 lb little one they started at 200.! Plus the office visit to tell me how much it would be. Way too much money. I had her spayed at San berdo humane society for less then half. Where is the Beaumont vet?
Stephanie H. replied:
Banning Vet is expensive. But the doctors are all very caring. Quality care is worth paying for!!!
I need suggestions or recommendations on the best vet (personally/professionally, & price wise) in town for de-clawing & spay/nuetering.
Aryn M. replied:
Banning vet by dominos is good, a little pricey but I've never gotten attitude or bad customer service and I've been going there for years. They take really good care of the animals.
