Hello guys! I need to go to see a doctor asap (public one) because i have European health insurance card. Do you know how can i do that? Any suggestions? Thanks a lot!!
Jenny W. replied:
you can either go to a CAP (like a "nomal" doctors office) or to a hospital. Check if your national health insurance has a special partner hospital, mine did. This is the list where you can find the closest CAP to you: https://atencioprimariaicsbcn.wordpress.com/centre-atencio-primaria-cap-barcelona-ciutat-ics/ I didnt have to pay anything and waited for about 45 minutes. They take a copy of your european health insurance card. Get well soon! :)
Paula G. replied:
Go to your CAP, you can look in Internet witch one you should go and go as an emergency. They will attend you. Some CAPS have specific hours for emergencies, depends on the CAP. You will have to wait, maybe a bit long, but if you need "baja médica" then is the right way. Good luck! http://ics.gencat.cat/ca/assistencia/centres-i-serveis/

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adrenal_fatigue
> Adrenal fatigue or hypoadrenia are terms used in alternative medicine to describe the unscientific belief that the adrenal glands are exhausted and unable to produce adequate quantities of hormones, primarily the glucocorticoid cortisol, due to chronic stress or infections.[1] Adrenal fatigue should not be confused with recognized forms of adrenal dysfunction such as adrenal insufficiency or Addison's Disease.[2]
> The term "adrenal fatigue", which was coined in 1998 by James Wilson, a chiropractor,[3] may be applied to a collection of mostly nonspecific symptoms.[1] There is no scientific evidence supporting the concept of adrenal fatigue and it is not recognized as a diagnosis by the medical community.[1][2] A systematic review found no substantiative evidence for the term adrenal fatigue, confirming the general consensus among endocrinological societies that it is a myth.[4]
> Blood or salivary testing is sometimes offered but there is no evidence that adrenal fatigue exists or can be tested.[1][3] **The concept of adrenal fatigue has given rise to an industry of dietary supplements marketed to treat this condition. These supplements are largely unregulated in the U.S., are ineffective, and in some cases may be dangerous.[3]**

No offence but holistic medicine is BS. A healthy diet and lots of exercise will fix you way more than paying a holistic person, not doctor, person.

I had mono last September and nothing has been the same since. Really weird sensations/pains in muscles and head, all sorts of other minor medical problems when before nothing was wrong with me. My CatSalut doctor thinks that it just lasts a few weeks and then all this new stuff is unrelated... i'm not so sure.
