Update in my case. My wife apparently spoke to someone at Gas Natural and they asked her to check the water pressure on the heater. It was apparently way too low and that caused our 3 x increase in usage. I guess we’ll see if that change reflects on the bill in March. Check your pressure gauges perhaps?
