Sari, not sure of chiropractors but have you tried laser therapy? Worked miracles for my dog. She suffered from osteoarthritis, spondylosis and had a huge range of muscle and joint injuries. I swear by it. Our vet is Dr. Kirkham at Cheltenham Veterinary and he's fabulous

This is who I go to, not sure they do chiro, but they do acupuncture and massaging... maybe they'd know who to recommend if they do don't do the service needed. Also.. it's an hour and half away from Barrie. But it's a close start. :)http://www.millgrovevet.com/services/

Can anyone recommend a good chiropractor in the area? I've been having some really bad lower back pain and I'm looking into going to a chiropractor and exploring some...
Anonymous replied:
I had zero success with a chiropractor but lots of success with a physiotherapist, if chiro doesn't do it for you. All injuries and all bodies are different though so what worked for me might not work for you, and vice versa. Edit: oh and as for recommendations, i'd say pick somewhere that teaches you about WHY you have back pain and helps you take steps towards staying injury free. whether that's massage/physio/chiro/etc, i've had fantastic people who would talk the entire time about this and that muscle doing this and that and i've had others who had no idea and just talked about their kids and shit and occasionally said "oooh lots of knots there" lol so ask around, make sure the people you're going in to see know their shit. i went through four massage therapists before finding one who knew more than i did about my own body.

Health partner professionals! I randomly started having severe rib and shoulder blade pain and after months of suffering I went to Health Partner Professionals on Commerce Park and saw Chad. He was freaking amazing! Plus, he used a mixture of treatments. I had a mix of alignments, light therapy and acupuncture treatments and now I’m a-okay again(plus he didn’t charge extra for the different treatments)!
Mandinder replied:
I'd recommend you talk to your family doctor about getting a referral to a medical professional like an osteopath. Chiropractors are not doing anything helpful, they are uniformly frauds.
travsteev replied:
High St Chiropractic is AWESOME, Tom Lillie is taking over the practice, young guy but has more credentials than any other one I've looked at. They are one of the few licensed sport chiropractors to, not one of those doctors to tell you to give things up but to actually support you in being active and getting more active. I have always enjoyed my visits and they are very affordable, sign up online for appointments to.
