The Go Giver- Bob Burg (2 books) Simple and brilliant. You're already running your business this way... But it would be a refreshing and powerful read nonetheless.
Is there restaurants in town that kids eat free Tuesday or Wednesday nights?? And inexpensive things to do besides splash pads for kids??
Ann T. replied:
Lots O Fun has a FB page. https://www.facebook.com/lots0 fun?fref=ts
Amanda P. replied:
Montanas kids eat free Tuesday, one kid's meal with the purchase of an entree. Not sure if it's lunch and dinner, or just dinner. Jungle Oasis being "cheap" depends on how many kids you have between 3 and 12. They are $10/each with no sibling discount that I can see on their website, unless the child is under two years old. The new indoor play place is called Lots O Fun. Both have websites with their admission rates. The library may have some free or nominal programming on over the summer. And check with Pottery in the Hills on Mill St. to see if they have anything happening. They are usually reasonably priced.
Looking for recommendations for a family friendly restaurant in Alliston. Not a chain.
Melanie M. replied:
We love Spring Basil. They serve amazing food!
Tracy M. replied:
Try Red Pine Inn. Their restaurant is quite good and family friendly. They have entrees under $10, are fully licensed, and you don't have to be a hotel guest to enjoy. It's located near the Pioneer and I heard they even have a really good liver & onion! I liked their burgers and pasta.
Bummer...plans for dinner on Saturday at Lone Star Kingston is a bust! They wont take our reservation for 14 people...guess we have to spend our money somewhere else....

Jack Astor's sorta has the same feel as LoneStar...

Iron Duke. They'll take 14 I'm sure and the food is great quality
Anyone remember a restaurant in downtown Whitby (Dundas & Brock) that had great curry in the 1980s? It closed in the early 90's. I can't remember if it was specifically...
