It sounds like you have great options already. I have yet to go, but wanted to give Dr Rachel Stricker at Healing Arts a try. Have met her and love her caring personality and she gave me great advice just in conversation one day, despite not having gone in. Sweet lady!
Camille S. replied:
Though not in Battle Ground, I have been going to and love Dr. Sheryl Wagnerhttp://www.drsherylwagner.com/home.html who has been treating my kids with seasonal and food allergies through very non evasive treatments. We love her and I so appreciate her... my son has outdoor and salt allergies in addition to other things like dairy... that get treated where he can still eat them. She is awesome if you don't find what you are looking for elsewhere. I have Kaiser, so I'm not sure what insurance she takes since I pay out of pocket. Though I know there is a discount on allergy testing going on right now.

Ok after the answers I received yesterday, who has a great naturopath doctor recommendation?
Sandra B. replied:
Cedar Crest Whole Health Medical Center. Providing conventional and alternative therapies. 100 Cedar Crest Drive. Winlock WA. 1-360-785-0300. He is a Christian who tries to find the cause behind symptoms and treat them. MANY from my church believe he is worth the hour drive for relief from long standing problems.

They're in Hazel Dell off 78 th St. (360) 573-3223. They are closed on Fridays though.
Christina C. replied:
West Family Clinic. They're family friends and I've been seeing them since I was 7. It's a small office and is ran by Dr. West and his wife.
Stephanie J. replied:
www.whitmirechiropracticcenter.com They are Christian clinic, they use their clinic as a ministry. They do not "pop" any joints. They mostly do ostiomanipulation and work with allergies. I have not been yet, but I will be going for my headaches soon. Dr Lewis is headache specialized, her heart is in it because she has suffered from migrains as well. They are very inexpensive. Call and talk with the receptionist, she is really sweet and will educate you on their procedures. We have lots of skeptical family friends that have gone over the years and they call them the Voodoo Dr's but they swear by the healing that occurs. Let me know if you go or call them. We intend to take Alexis in to work on her allergies soon. Praying for you. I know how headaches are.
Sandra B. replied:
I go to Whitmire's clinic and see Dr. Lewis. She is very thorough and knowledgable! I've gone there for about 15 years.
Emily E. replied:
Dr. Keller in Longview, I believe I mentioned her to you yesterday. My mom cant say enough good things about her.

Dr Mark Shaver is great! If our insurance would let us we would have him again. I also really like Dr Doerfler - he's the only one at Vancouver Clinic I could recommend.
Not going to go into great detail today... Too tired to... But modern day western medicine sucks! I am sticking to my naturopath for Skylar from now on... If anyone...
Natasha C. replied:
Aside from the 6 week appt. with my midwife Donovan hasn't seen a "Dr" ever. lol. My midwife is actually a family practitioner so she can see anyone. They have an office in Aurora. She's great! https://www.facebook.com/pages/Aurora-Family-Health-and-Midwifery-Services/136443623068404

Amanda Roh with family tree medicine is phenomenal
Darleen S. replied:
Good for you!! Stick to your instincts! Western medicine is never about healing, usually just treating! Love our midwives who are family naturopathic doctors as well, A Gentle Beginning in Portland. No idea if providence covers them, usually insurance doesn't accept naturopathic, which is a load of crap. But for me worth is for out of pocket that us generally affordable anyway!
I am looking for a good acupuncturist and naturopath in the the Battle Ground area. Stan has acid reflux, barret's esophagus but can't take the regular medicine for it...
