For affordable dental care, Beaufort Jasper Comprehensive Health Services has a dental clinic on St. Helena. They base the cost on your income, but it is a new, clean facility and everyone is nice and professional.

Coastal Pediatric Dentistry in Bluffton. Yes, it's a little bit of a drive (about 30 mins), but SOOOOO worth it. We live on Lady's Island and when my 1 1/2 yr old had a dental trauma on a Saturday, they were the ONLY ones that would respond and see us. Needless to say we switched dentists immediatly to them. They are specialized pediatric dentists and only treat kids and are phenominal!!

And at dentistry at habersham I paid cash less than $200 for a filling and only $40 for the office visit which is waived if he can do the work that day..I was a little worried because he was a good bit cheaper than the 2 other places I called but I thank God that I went to Dr Zimmer. I look forward to my next visit which I'd never thought I'd say!

If you have insurance--Dr. Zimmer is in the network and he is AMAZING! He just did a lot of work on me and the co-pay wasn't bad. I didn't have to have a root canal so I don't know how much that is but...I am a chicken when it comes to Dentist because I have TMD and he was wonderful. I didn't even feel a "pinch" when he gave me the shot.
