I run crafty hen dos. You can come along and make anything from a fabric flower bouquet (each hen makes a flower or 2 to make into a bouquet), to making your own knickers, to creating bunting or table decorations. Anything fabric related really. I provide everything you need. You can either come to me in Girton or I can book a local venue (hotel/village hall) - whatever suits. My website is escapeandcreate.co.uk. Let me know if there is anything more you want to know. x
Can anyone recommend a good spa day experience that is reasonably priced and fairly local?

Aqua Sana at Centre Parcs I liked the best and I've tried a few x

I have been to all of the above mentioned spas. I agree with Emma..the Swan isn't worth it as the pool is usually cold and that just leaves the jacuzzi which fits about 4 in. Yspa is nice but there isn't that much to do there unless you are planning on having lots of treatments and the rooms are quite limited. There is far more variety at Aqua Sana, although I don't think there outdoor pool area is as nice as Yspa. The variety of different room experiences is far superior though and they also have little seminars you can go to if you want to. The restaurant and food selection is far superior there too. The lady who is looking for Hen Do ideas...we went to Aqua Spa for my daughter's and it was lovely...they made a real effort with decorating our table etc..was a lovely experience x
