Get some probios gel and administer. Sounds like scours and you will need fresh goat's milk as well. Clarks Grain Store has probios in gel form.
Peter C. replied:
Sounds like coccidiosis. Drench ASAP with Corid which you can get at Tractor Supply. Feel free to call me@Jenness Farm in Nottingham at 942-8051 until you connect with a vet

Know of any place that spays/neuters for cheap, but isn't a "chop shop"? I have a barn cat and am possibly getting another and I'd like them fixed. My vet is expensive.

I'm looking for a Veterinarian in the lakes region area that had experience with turkeys...
Any recommendations?
Jaqueline W. replied:
I don't know if they have experience with turkeys, but here is a list of recommended avian vets in NH: http://beautyofbirds.com/recommendedbirdvetsnewhampshire.html
Jaqueline W. replied:
Eric Corum, just a quick search into the disease and the treatment antibiotic is actually Dimetridazole. Any other antibiotics are strictly preventative use. Any dead birds need to be burned or buried deeply. via http://www.millerhatcheries.com/information/diseases/blackhead_disease.htm

I liked the the Daniel Webster Animal Hospital in Bedford. (603) 624-4004
Deanne O. replied:
That's where we go. Love Dr. Rosa. It's not the procedure that's so expensive, it's the price of the anesthesia that costs
Brett H. replied:
We use Dr. Rosa and his wife as well. In addition to regular appointments he also performed my dog's knee surgery. The communication was more outstanding than with my own doctor..
Betty S. replied:
Have used DW Animal Hospital for many years (both dogs and cats)! They are the best!!

Cheryl O. replied:
I love Dr. Rosa, too. He has always been great with my cats.

Dr Rosa at Daniel Webster Animal Hospital in Bedord. His wife, Dr. Kate (?) Is wonderful too!
Sandy D. replied:
We go to Dr Kaas at Mercy Animal Hospital & have been to him for decades. We just had our dog's teeth cleaned & it is a pricey procedure & anesthesia is a big chunk. We received a written estimate ahead of time so we knew what the cost would be. I'm sure other vets have estimates also so you could shop around. Good Luck !
