Can anyone recommend a vet for a small difficult dog?
Linda B. replied:
All Creatures Animal hospital/vet. They're located in Gorst. Just let them know all about your dog and they'll be ready. My daughter's small dog is a terror! He has to wear a small muzzle, and be sedated just for his exam and nails clipped. But they were wonderful, and understanding!

Belfair Animal Hospital rocks!

Ask for Dr. Amanda or Dr. Isabelle... I prefer the lady doctors as far as experience goes. The young man is um... young... and still learning... The ladies do a lot of holistic medicine, naturalistic, etc which may be able to deal with your difficult pup better.

I totally agree, Laurie Larson, about Dr. Amanda and Dr. Nancy. Now that I think about this particular situation, they would be my choice.:)

Shelton Vet is the best priced, and handled my dog very well. My boy is far from small, and rather much an 'idoit' around people he doesn't know.
Marlene C. replied:
I agree, Kimberly, Shelton Vet on Olympic has the best prices... I know people who drive over an hour to take their pets there.

Belletowne Veterinary Center also... Top of my list... Well, they are the only ones on my list actually... LOL Wouldn't go to any others except if desperate. I won't go into all the horror stories again as to why not to go to others... but if you want the best for caring, and listening to you, and doing what you want, go to Belletowe. I <3 them. And I actually love Dr. Little at AC, and I like some of the other doctors and technicians, I don't like their business practice.
Does anyone know of an inexpensive vet? One that works off a sliding scale or takes payments? I need to take my hairy 4 legged son to the Dr. He is holding up one of his...
