Recommendations for tattoo shops/artists in the Oakland/Berkeley area?

What a useful question. It depends a lot on what you plan to have done.

Hannah Wolf at Sacred Rose in Berkeley. She also owns Castro Tattoo in SF, so is there most of the time. Last I heard she still works at Sacred Rose one of two days a week. Barnaby Williams at Castro Tattoo is also an awesome artist and super nice guy. Danny Boy Smith at Let It Bleed Tattoo in SF does great work. Tattoo Boogaloo is a cool shop and if you're looking for portrait or photo-realistic work their artist Mez is basically the only person in the world you should go to. As someone else mentioned Old Crow in Oakland has a pretty accomplished staff, but I haven't had any work done by someone there, personally. Industrial Tattoo in Berkeley has 2 great artists and 2 *meh* artists (in my opinion), but if you go in and look at their books it's easy to tell which is which. War Horse Tattoo in Berkeley is an awesome, awesome shop. Their tattooist Greg, in particular, does mind-blowing work.
Does anyone know who the original artist for this is? I'm such a big fan. #PussyGrabsBackpic.twitter.com/Yn7eRiEnfw

Bay Area Tattooed friends: Id like to get my first tattoo. Preferably this weekend or next. Going to be fairly simple text. Can any one recommend a trustworthy tattoo...

If there is any one on right now I am trying to find the Navy Seabee tattoo from World War II. My grandfather Seabee then and I need a picture the tattoo from then.
RAVE!!! A few weeks back I did a rant in here about a local tattoo shop. In the comments a couple people in here gave recommendations that I go to their tattoo artists....

[VIDEO] beautiful!! as a person with many tattoo's, and as a person that comes in contact with many survivor boobies! I always recommend to women to go to a REAL tattoo...
