Zack Gaylord in Berkley did an amazing leg piece for me. He's really easy to work with, has a great sense of humor, and works quickly. I would highly recommend him. He really takes the time to explain the process and build out a design that will last. He also has a lot of experience doing cover ups if you're looking for that. I've got a bunch of small/medium sized tattoos, but he did my largest one (40 hours). He is by far my favorite artist to have worked with. ZackG13 on Instagram if you want to check out his stuff.

My friend Pierre works at Rebel Gallery in San Francisco. He was a cartoonist and dog walker before he was a tattoo artist. He has probably drawn more dogs than anything else. I have two tattoos that he’s done. I have 4-5 other friends with tattoos by him and they all came out amazing. Black and gray line work is his jam. One is a cartoony sloth that takes up my whole calf. It’s basically all line work and it looks great. 3-4 years old, and holding up great. The other is very recent, still healing. It’s an adjustable wrench that takes up my right forearm. His Instagram is@tattoosbypierre, but some of his best work isn’t on there, not sure why!
