go to your general practitioner, he/she sure will have some professional recommendations. You'll probably need a letter of referral from him anyway. If it's life threatening go to a hospital If not and your doctor is closed, you can find your nearest emergency service with the telephone number 116117

AFAIK you can just make an appointment directly with them, or ask if they have walk ins. If it's super urgent...like you're having a stroke or something, go to the emergency room.

I was recommended to Dr. Roland Nohr in steglitz. He speaks English and has times throughout the week that doesn't require an appointment. Mo-fr 9:00-12:00 Mo,tu,wed 15:00 - 17:00. Its usually full, but you will be seen if you show at 9:00 or 15:00. Schlosstrasse 40 12165 Berlin. ( 5 th Floor) He's usually pressed for time but wants to help.

This guy is old school but he's the absolute best: Dr. Behse. I have a chronic medical problem and every other doctor I've been to knew Dr. Behse and told me he's a well-known neurologist in Berlin. He only takes private patients though. If I remember correctly, he told me that he lived for a few years in the US, but I spoke to him in German. Here are his contact details: https://www.neurologie-adenauerplatz.de/de/team-neurologische-privatpraxis-berlin/pd-dr-friedrich-behse Apparently he has published several books in English, so his English should be good. I wish you a quick recovery. By the way, depending on how urgent it is, you might want to go to the emergency room.

I don't have a specific recommendation. However, on this page it is possible to query doctors based on their areas and the languages they speak: http://www.aerzte-berlin.de/_php/therapie30/fach.php

Does anybody know if "Fachartz für Innere Medizin" specializes in neurology too?

You could also call your german health insurance (if you have one), they will get you an appointment within 6 weeks. Otherwise you should ask your general practicioner, they usually have recommendations for specialists nearby.
Seems like I sprained a nerve in my wrist/elbow/neck and my right hand has been numb for a while. It's really a pain in the arse to get an appointment with a neurologist...
