My wife goes to John Vaccaro in Glen Ridge. she is happy with him.
Lynne S. replied:
Dr Ibrahim is not that great. Was my doctor in the hospital when I had a stroke then after a few visits decided he wasn't going to accept my insurance which is the most popular in NJ. His office staff told me do not come to your office visit unless you bring $125.00 cash for visit the night before my scheduled visit. Needless to say I was shocked. I thought how do you do that to a patient you have been treating for almost a year. The office informed me each visit would cost 125.00 and if I had another stroke and was hospitalized he would not be my doctor unless we could pay cash. So you can understand why I say Dr. Ibrahim is not that great and he is also unprofessional and money hungry!!!!!!
Melissa P. replied:

Can anyone recommend a hematologist, and a Lyme- savvy neurologist, preferably out of St Barnabas, but not essential. Thanks in advance!
Cathy B. replied:
Neurologist Dr John Robinton on N Fullerton Montclair, the best.
Dottie T. replied:
Dr Rao in Summit or Livingston Hemotoligist
Maurine R. replied:
We went to Dr. Rao- but saw Dr Coates, who is part of the practice. He was very thorough, and put my daughter on infusion- which she had a drastic and terrible reaction to. But her case is very complex, with several conditions attributed to Lyme. Dr. Coates was very good- possibly a little lacking in empathy.... but he is a serious guy. He has offices in Springfield and Livingston. Let me know if you would like the particulars. We went to both offices but preferred Springfield due to great staff. Good luck!!!! - Maurine
